Dr. Siyabulela Mandela to Receive the 2026 IPA | AIP Global Leadership Award

The International Peace Alliance | Alliance Internationale de la Paix (IPA | AIP) is honoured to announce that Dr. Siyabulela Mandela, distinguished global peace advocate, author, and international speaker, will receive the 2026 IPA | AIP Global Leadership Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to international dialogue, peace advocacy, intercultural understanding, reconciliation, and principled global leadership.

The award will be presented during the Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala & Grand Ball, the closing celebration of the 2026 International Peace Festival, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto, Canada.

As the great-grandson of President Nelson Mandela, Dr. Mandela carries forward one of the world's most enduring legacies of moral leadership, justice, and reconciliation. His public life reflects a continued commitment to the values associated with that extraordinary legacy—peaceful coexistence, human dignity, bridge-building, and the transformative power of dialogue in addressing conflict and division.
