The INCLUDE Webinar Series – Teaching INCLUsion, Diversity and Equity
The INCLUDE Webinar Series is a cross-disciplinary training programme focused on inclusion, accessibility, and equity in higher education. Running from March 31 to mid-June 2026, it brings together students and staff through online webinars and a final Summer School to explore inclusive education, equitable work environments, and diversity-related challenges.

IN-ROOTS – Inclusive Routes and Roots for Doctoral Communities
IN-ROOTS is a three-day retreat taking place on 14–16 May 2026 at the University of Pisa. It brings together doctoral students from Circle U. universities to reflect on the academic and emotional challenges of the PhD journey, particularly those faced by international researchers. Through conversations on intersectionality, the sharing of personal experiences, and community-building activities, participants will collaboratively develop a “glocal” support system designed to help international PhD students navigate both university structures and everyday life in Pisa.

Intersectionality in Research: what it is and why it matters
This webinar will introduce intersectionality both as a social construct and as a theoretical and methodological framework for research. Participants will explore how categories such as gender, race, class, disability, and sexuality intersect to shape lived experiences, data production, and knowledge claims. The webinar is for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers.

UNIVIE Staff Training Days: Library and Archive Services (18–20 May 2026)
During these days, you will learn some facts about the University of Vienna and how the University Library is embedded in the university. We will provide information about our organisation and construction projects. In addition to guided tours, details about the most important research support services and our open access activities will be provided.
