A special awards ceremony celebrating the laureats of the 2025 IPA & IPF Peace Awards will be held at the King Edward, Toronto, on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala, beginning at 6:00pm.
Inspiring Change, Celebrating Impact: Meet the 2025 IPF Peace Awards Laureates
Every year, the International Peace Alliance (IPA) invites artists, musicians, filmmakers, humanitarian and human rights activists, and public figures to its International Peace Festival (IPF)'s annual Peace Ambassadors Awards Gala and Grand Ball in Toronto to honor their artistic and leadership achievements and contributions. These awards consist of three major categories: the IPF Peace Merit Awards, the IPA Peace Leadership Awards, and the IPF Film For Peace Awards.
IPF | FIP Film For Peace Awards 2025
Every film shown at the International Peace Festival | Festival International de la Paix is an extraordinary viewing experience. The IPF | FIP Film For Peace Awards are prizes awarded by the International Peace Festival as part of its initiative to raise awareness for the social relevance of films. This year the festival honors 10 films with a Best Film Merit Award, each film of which originates from a world region mostly aligned with the continent on which the country of film origin is located. A Film of the Year Award is also conferred on a film selected for its valuable work on humanitarian and environmental issues. All Award winners will be presented with an original award created by AB Crystal Collection at the Awards Ceremony held annually at the closing of the festival.

The prestigious recognition of the IPA Peace Leadership Awards is conferred on the following 2025 Honorees for their outstanding contributions to global dialogue, cultural diplomacy, responsible entrepreneurship and ethical leadership, honoring their work towards building a better world beyond borders:
IPA Humanitarian Leadership Award – Mary Robinson
IPA Impact Leadership Award – Bill Gates
IPA Community Leadership Award – Francesco Serafini
