Roxy Zapala

Roxy Zapala, Founder and Creative Director of Art of Celebrations Event Planning and Design Firm, is known for her generosity, leveraging her business success to organize and benefit impactful charitable initiatives. Her philanthropic strategy has led her to espouse causes dear to her heart, including supporting institutions concerned with children’s welfare and planetary health.

With a diploma in interior design and an extensive background in floristry, Roxy brings more than 20 years of experience overseeing all event-planning aspects of large-scale local and international projects for influential organizations, governments, and foundations. She is the Founder and Director of the SickKids Fired-Up Gala – an annual event benefiting the Burns and Plastics Unit at the SickKids Hospital in Toronto.

As Director of Festival Services & Event Production, Roxy brings her passion to the International Peace Festival in overviewing the planning and organization of IPF’s highlight events such as the Peace Ambassadors Gala and the Awards Ceremony and Concert celebrating IPF’s Special Merit Awards honourees. Her work has been recognized globally and featured in numerous news media including the Globe and Mail, CTV, CP24, Global News, CityTV, and more.
